Where will the 2025 International LAM Research Conference & LAMposium take place?
The Conference, including the Breath of Hope Gala, will take place at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, located at 1 East Pershing Road, Kansas City, Missouri, USA, 64108.  The Kansas City International Airport (MCI) services the area.
I need to order oxygen for the conference. How should I handle it with the hotel?
For patients having oxygen delivered to the Westin, please work with your oxygen supplier and insurance a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the conference date to ensure timely delivery of your order.  The hotel does NOT allow you to pick up the equipment at the front desk but will deliver directly to and from your room.

What is included in the registration costs and hotel?

The cost for the hotel is $235 per night (this includes tax and fees).

Conference registration includes the following meals:

  • Friday – breakfast and lunch
  • Saturday – breakfast, lunch, gala dinner
  • Sunday – breakfast only

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the hotel.
Hotel parking is $29 per night for self-parking and $39 per night valet.

What should I wear to the Research Conference & LAMposium and the Breath of Hope Gala?
Smart casual or business casual attire is recommended throughout the conference. All presentations will take place inside the hotel’s ballrooms so bring a sweatshirt, sweater, or a pashmina if you tend to get chilly. You may also want to bring comfortable clothing for yoga or other fitness activities, if you plan on participating. The hotel has a fitness center and a large outdoor pool. Don’t forget your dancing shoes and formal attire for the Breath of Hope Gala!
When is the best time to book my hotel and travel accommodation?
It is best to book your hotel room NOW. Be sure to call and reserve your room as soon as you register. The best way to get the discounted $195 + tax room rate is to book through the link below or call the hotel directly. Please help The LAM Foundation exclusively book the entire hotel by reserving your room through these avenues. When you book using other online sites, it decreases our ability to secure the entire hotel and meet our room quota. The deadline to book a room in The LAM Foundation room block is September 3.
