The 2020 International LAM Research Conference & LAMposium will be The LAM Foundation's 23rd annual meeting. Having evolved from a dedicated family/patient conference to a state of-the-art scientific meeting, this year’s event in Cincinnati will continue the highly successful format of blending patient and family participation with leading edge discussions about basic and translational advances in LAM research. This year’s event will also celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The LAM Foundation. We look forward to welcoming attendees from around the world to this momentous event that will celebrate the courage, resilience and excellence of the LAM Community, as we strive to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for LAM.

The aims of the 2020 International LAM Research Conference are:

  • To review exciting advances in advanced lung imaging, single-cell RNA sequencing, estrogen/uterine signaling, immunotherapy, and metabolic processes that are relevant to LAM.
  • Provide a forum for LAM Clinic Directors to promote best practices and refine LAM Clinical Practice Guidelines, discuss difficult cases, and set priorities for the LAM Clinic Network.
  • To set the stage for another 25 years of scientific progress by launching the first annual Early Stage Investigator (ESI) Symposium.
  • Full immersion and integration of patients, families, and friends into all facets of the conference including the research that will favorably impact the health of individuals with LAM.

*New in 2020 will be our exclusive occupancy of the entire Summit Hotel, a newly constructed Cincinnati hotel and conference center, as the venue for the research conference and 25th Anniversary Celebration.
