A Message from Chuck Wehland, Board Chair of The LAM Foundation

I regret to inform the LAM community that Sally Draper resigned as Executive Director on August 26, 2024. Although the timing of this situation is unfortunate, we wish her well in her future endeavors. We are fortunate to have an outstanding staff that will continue to work for LAM patients around the world while we seek a permanent Executive Director. In the meantime, Dr. Pat Gentile, the Interim Executive Director that steered our operations since December, will be resuming her role on a short-term basis beginning September 3, 2024.

Pat is deeply moved by the mission of The LAM Foundation and believes it is truly deserving of your support. She has witnessed the passion and dedication of the staff, Board volunteers, LAM clinicians, researchers, and supporters who are all committed to advancing this cause. Indeed, our collective efforts are focused on empowering individuals with LAM by providing essential information, therapies, and research studies aimed at enhancing their quality of life, and, ultimately, finding a cure for this progressive disease. Pat feels honored to be a part of such a dedicated and compassionate community.

Signed,

Chuck Wehland
Chair, Board of Directors
